Blackberry Picking 💜

This morning, Gina showed some of us the little tomatoes she has growing in her garden. We are going to pick these to eat once they are ready, but they’re not quite ripe enough yet.

We decided to head out and find something that would be ready to eat! Gina showed us a patch of blackberry bushes, we picked lots for our pudding!

We were very careful to stay close as the bushes were near a road, we made sure to keep on the grass so we were safe.

We had to be very gentle with the blackberries so we didn’t squash them. We packed them up in a little bag and took them home to wash and eat after our lunch!

We heard some trains whizzing past so rushed down to the train tunnel - it was so noisy under there!

We did lots of shouting so we could hear our echo! We also did some wonderful animal noises too.

When we got home, we worked together to build some lovely rainbow towers and bridges.

After lunch, we tried our blackberries. We all loved them and decided they were ‘squishy and sweet’.
