We have had a busy day of activities! We are making the most of all our lovely resources while we wait for Grace’s car to get better so we can get out and about (fingers crossed for next week!).
We started off with yet another go with our current favourite puzzle - we must have done this 5 times this week! It’s amazing to see the children working together and solving the puzzle a little quicker each time.
Next, we practiced our scissor skills. We also tried to draw our own stars using cookie cutters - it was very tricky to hold them still while we made marks!
We had a wonderful time in the garden too. Issy and Tristan painted with puddle water - Tristan was very patient and painted the entire giant scale!
We collected shells and stones in buckets and pots, making a delicious soup for our lunch. We used so much imagination when chatting about what ingredients our natural resources represent.
We finished off with some puddle splashing and making tea and cake for pudding!
