Woodland Adventures 🍂
This morning we decided to head across the field and into the woods to look at changes to the world around us as we head into Autumn.
We walked across to a huge oak tree and found loads of acorns! We were so excited so see so many, especially with their little ‘hats’
We found some wood and added our acorns on top to make displays. We also found some amazing sticks - Elijah rubbed two sticks together to try to clean them!
We worked together to create a little fairy sanctuary and loved exploring the fallen branches.
Then we spotted the entrance to the woods! We checked out the map, worked out where we were and off we went to explore.
We found even more sticks, some ash from a fire and lots of fallen Autumn leaves. We took our sticks back to nursery, had a quick dig in the old tree stump on the way and added them to our fairy garden.
