Singing in the rain ☂️
We started our morning with some investigations with shells.
We used brushed and water to clean the shells, dipping them into our bowls of water and using brushes to move the dust away and see the pretty patterns on the shells.
We checked the forecast and realised it was going to rain all morning! Theodora had brought her umbrella in so we decided to get the rest of the umbrellas out and go for a walk in the rain!
We stopped at the green on Somers Road so we had more space to play with our umbrellas. We span and ran around the green, holding onto our umbrellas tightly as it was very windy!
We all sang ‘Do-re-mi’ with our brollies all the way home! It was so lovely to watch the children singing together. ♥️
We also practiced sharing our umbrellas but we realised it was quite tricky as some of us are taller than others!
