What a hot day we have had today!
We cooled down this afternoon with some water play. We collected our favourite shells from the garden and filled some water trays so we could clean them with brushes and cloths.
We quickly decided to dip our feet in and squeeze cool water over them, using brushes to paint our legs and splashing in the trays.
Danielle and Tristan enjoyed trying to head the noise of the sea from their shells.
We felt so much better once we had cooled ourselves down and we did a really great job of cleaning up the shells!
