Messy Play Morning 🌹 🌻 🧊 🧜♀️ 🧁
We were very lucky to be given some lovely messy play resources by Mimi’s Mummy today!
She froze us some giant petal ice blocks and gave us some beautiful recycled flowers to enjoy!
She also brought us some homemade vanilla playdough, mermaid sprinkles and cupcake cases so we could make our own delicious creations.
We added paint and brushes to our ice play, adding lots of colours and enjoying watching the ice melt and mix to create colour water. We were very gentle with the flowers so we didn’t damage them as we painted!
We mixed sprinkles into our playdough and made delicious cakes! We wanted to take our cakes home but we explained that this craft was very difficult to walk with or take in the car so we all posed for some proud pictures with our work.
We spent over an hour and a half on these activities and the children were still disappointed when we had to stop for lunch! We have more playdough and ice to use another day, we can’t wait to find out what ideas the children have next time!
