Loose Parts Play 🐚🪵🎨🛒
This morning we started off with a free painting activity, we made such beautiful pictures!
We loved mixing the colours on the page and exploring how much paint we needed to break through our paper!
We are beginning to swap some of the nursery resources for more of our open ended, natural loose parts. It’s amazing to see how long the children play with these items and how far their imaginations will go!
We used baskets, containers, wood slices/coasters, shells and corks along with our till to create a shop. We transported items around the room, pretending they were all sorts of different things!
We have been getting the large block trolley out at every session as the children just love them. They are used as phones, hats, stepping stones, computers and we always end up building them into a balance beam together!
