Puzzles & New Friends 🧩
This morning we enjoyed some puzzles, these are some of our new toys from the scout hut! We have finally received our approval from Rutland to use the scout hut for 50% of our time, we will be heading over for a few hours this week!
We did some amazing geometric pattern matching with boards and shapes. We were very clever and if we weren’t quite sure if we had the right pattern, we were able to find the matching colour.
We also enjoyed using the ‘pin-a-shape’ game. We used mini hammers and drawing pins to attach wooden shapes to cork boards. We all knew that we needed to be careful as the pins were sharp, we were also very careful not to leave any on the floor as it might hurt our feet or the younger children.
Mimi helped us with a giant under the sea puzzle! It was quite tricky so we’re going to keep working on it this week.
We also went for a lovely walk and spotted lots of building and road works! Ava found a beautiful flower in her favourite colour 💜
We also had a visit from a new friend, Leah! Leah is Elijah and Bethany’s sister and she will be joining us next week. We were all very kind and loved showing her some of our toys.
