Bugs & Basketball 🏀 🐛 🐞
It was so lovely to go to nursery in the sunshine after a couple of days of rain!
We were very grown up and used proper metal weights and corks with our vintage scales this morning. We tried to balance the scales by adding different weights to each side.
We all wanted to dress up this morning! We had a post-police man, a digger fireman and a Mummy baker!
Mimi set up a lovely activity with bugs, leaves, plants and our nature flash cards. We transported this activity to the book corner to make little bug homes!
We showed off our gross motor skills in the garden with ball games! We played catch, kicked the ball into imaginary goals and bounced balls off the wall!
We also enjoyed a little bit of makeshift basketball! Grace held a hoop and we threw our balls through, we got lots of goals even when Grace moved the hoop around!
