A Morning in the Woods 🌳
This morning we took a trip to the lovely and shady Welham Green woods. We haven’t been for such a long time it was so nice to find all our favourite spots again!
Of course, a woodland visit wouldn’t be complete without building a campfire. We picked some huge logs and worked together to drag them to our camp area - it was such hard work!
Mimi helped us to drag a huge fallen branch to complete our fire. Zara was very helpful too, collecting twigs and bark to add on.
We practiced some very grown up skills such as climbing onto low level trees, balancing on logs and digging with big sticks.
We found a huge ditch and decided to grab a branch and build a house! We worked together and chatted about what we needed to make a house such as bricks, doors and windows. Our imaginations were amazing to watch!
